Alpaca Road is a small farm on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland that focuses on raising alpacas. Alpaca Road’s breeding program focuses on distinctive fiber and excellent conformation. They offer a full spectrum of services including consulting, boarding, breeding, and sales – all designed to help you on your road to alpaca ownership. Alpaca Road features a farm store featuring products crafted from alpaca fiber that is open on Sundays from 11am – 5pm or by appointment. They also feature workshops twice a month on Saturdays. Harvest Ridge Winery, which opened in November of 2013, spans the border of two states – Delaware and Maryland. It is located on the historic Mason-Dixon Line. In fact, one of the most unique features of the property is the existence of one of the Mason-Dixon’s original witness stone and crown markers – number 47 – located on the property. The first vines were planted in 2011 – Chardonnay, Viognier, Malbec, and Merlot. Harvest Ridge offers wine tours and tastings, special events, group tours and more!

Shore Good Heritage Farm

Take a step back in time to Shore Good Farm, a heritage farm located in Preston. Shore Good Farm highlights Caroline County’s rich agrarian history, featuring an unmatched collection of antiques and heritage artifacts from yesteryear, fresh-cut flowers, artisan carpentry including vintage outhouses and chicken coops, the plumpest blackberries on the shore, old-fashioned kettle corn and more!  Jack Stieff also runs his peanut roasting operation on the farm, offering 15 varieties of his signature peanuts.
