Caroline Paddlefest on the Choptank features two days of fun for the whole family. The night before the launch, enjoy a celebration in historic Greensboro. The following morning, paddle down the pristine Choptank River while playing ‘Paddle Poker.’ Your on-river excursion will end at Martinak State Park, where there will be food, fun, entertainment & more! Bid on a custom piece of art at the Paddle Art Auction, explore the Native American Exhibit and the Art Village, experience Scales & Tales, enjoy live entertainment and eat to your hearts content. Greensboro will be the place to be for this pre-Paddlefest Party! This event will be held right in front of Town Hall in the street! Main Street will be closed from Park Avenue to Sunset Ave with vendors, crafters, food, Fire Department BBQ chicken, free movie at dusk and Town businesses all set up with something to offer for everyone! Come out and enjoy this community event!

Spend a spring evening enjoying a picnic dinner and spirits as actors present true Civil War-era tales of Caroline County, re-enactors display their military equipage, and a renowned musician plays Civil War music on the Toad Hall lawn, a former steamboat landing where in 1861 a Union Army Regiment was formed with 300 Caroline men who later fought at Gettysburg. Support the Greensboro Chapter of the Caroline County Historical Society at the 9th Annual Greater Greensboro Open Golf Tournament. This flighted championship will feature a 50/50 Raffle, two Mulligans, a Long Drive Contest, cash prizes for a hole in one on all Par 3s, a Putting Contest and a luncheon following the round. Step back in time with a Friday Night Cruise-In and Outdoor Movie. Spend a summer evening strolling the streets of Downtown Denton and enjoying the classic cars parked along Market Street. There will also be DJ spinning oldies tunes. At dusk, there will be an outdoor movie, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets! This month’s movie is Cars II.
